When my brother and I were young, our Dad used to wake us up by sticking his head in our room and enthusiastically saying, "Up & at 'em, boys!".
Years later I was reading an interview with Paul McCartney, and he pointed out that when he wrote "Yellow Submarine", he purposely wrote one syllable words for the verse, so they'd be easier to remember and sing. I immediately picked up my guitar to experiment with this concept, and 20 minutes later, had written "Up & At 'Em".
Recently, with the abundance of free stock footage online, I decided to experiment again, this time with video selection and editing. Here's the outcome...enjoy!
